‘Schutzhund’ is the German word for ‘protection dog’ and refers to a sport IGP (IGP- Internationale Gebrauchshund Pruefung, previously known as IPO) that was developed initially to determine which dogs could be used for breeding and which had true working ability.

Nowadays many people are involved in this sport as a form of activity with dog that gives outlet of inborn drives, promotes confidence and builds great relationship.
There are three phases in IGP: Tracking, Obedience and Protection.
During those training sessions you can chose whether you want to work on the Obedience or Protection part.

During this workshop we are focusing on C-Part (bitework)

Alex will explain and discuss in details ways to develop drives, build grips, motivation and confidence, problem solving and answer all of your questions.

!!Moreover he will present exercises that will upgrade you protection phase training that you can do without the helper. You will be able practice those alone with your dog at home!!

All participants get access to facebook group 'Schutzhund Ninjas' where they will be able to watch videos of some of those exercises and get feedback from Alex on their training.

Coaching will be tailored to each handler-dog team. We welcome active competitors, those preparing for BH (Begleithund – companion dog), as well as those looking for an active way to spend time with a high-drive, energetic dog. You don’t need previous experience, but a basic working relationship is desirable. Please contact us if you are unsure about anything.
